Computer Lab . - COER-SM has a well equipped computer lab to cater to the needs of students and faculty in the college. The complete laboratory is upgraded from time to as per the basic lab, Linux Lab and DOT NET, C++, Visual Basic lab.

Hardware Lab

There is dedicated Hardwar and Network lab for the students of COER-SM It is basically designed to enhance the technical and practical demonstration with the description of each and every component of computer hardware is carried out by the faculties.


COER-SM library has got all what it takes to be a place of learning. The library is provided with a large number of books on different subjects covering from recommended text books to other reference books, a number of journals.

Seminar Hall

The COER-SM has one Seminar Hall having a sufficient seating capacity. The seminar hall is equipped with LCD Projector and PA Systems for achieving high quality audio and visual effects.

Class Rooms

All the classrooms in the block are well equipped with LCD projectors, Boards and other facilities to make learning process innovative.

Other Facilities @ COER

Vardhman Auditorium is a multipurpose building with a circular plan. To provide with a false ceiling in addition to three- earth air tunnels, each one meter in diameter. Special care has been taken to ensure good acoustics. The stage is equipped with permanent lighting fixtures and sophisticated audio-visual equipment.

Health Club Any education that does not teach the subject of your body and consciousness with you and that prevents one from being destructive. Thus adopting this motto COER, has provided the facility in its full form of its ‘HEALTH CLUB.

The next most visited spot is STUDENTS CENTER. The Students Center is the focal point of COER, with multiple facets in terms of its various hobbies clubs as – Electronics Club, music club, Photography club, Health club, communication skills labs and Quick Bite. Adjacent to the Academic Block where COERians are buys with notes, lectures and practical. Students center revitalizes them with their soothing environment.

The Quick Bite is a unique place, an opportunity for individuals to experience enthusiasm while dealing with appetite. An environment beyond caste, religion and respecting everyone’s individuality, the language out here is laughter and the smell of delicious food crafting through the kitchen.

One extension of Punjab National Bank ATM Facility works for the students to help them in financial affairs. ATM Facility is available for 24 hours in the COER campus

Students’ Development Activities

Value Added Programme (VAP) & Certificate Programme
Under the guidance of Dr. V.K. Jain, COER –SM offered different value added and certificate programmmes for students. Under this, various activities are organized that delivers possibilities to students for self expression and self fulfillment. These activities help students to stay active, learn to interact with others, develop time management etc. This programme has been incorporated in the regular time table of the students.

Preparation of competitive Exams
COER-SM facilitates the student of under graduated for the preparation of competitive exams; like SSC, CAT, BANK PO, CPT etc without any extra charges.

International Exposure
A foreign deligation including Dr. Namjae cho, professor, school of Business, Hanyang University, korea And Dr. Aimee Hampell Milagrosa of German development institute, Germany, accompanied by her two research scholars visited COER-SM. The deligates interacted with faculties and students as well to share their views and knowledge in the field of management.

Institute - Industry Interface

Guest Lectures
Guest speakers also invited on regular bases from reputed educational institutes and corporate houses to share their views and experiences with students. Recently, different guest speaks were organized by COER-SM for the betterment of students.

Industrial Visits
Industrial visits has its own importance in a career of a student who is pursuing a professional degree. Objective of industrial visit is to provide a student an insight regarding internal working of companies. It provide students with an opportunity to learn practical through interaction, working methods an employment practices.

Social Contribution : Karuna club
Karuna club is a non profit Organization governed by Karuna international, Chennai. The main aim of club is to promote compassion, kindness, love and respect for all. It promotes animal welfare, social welfare and humanity amongst the student. COER-SM is regularly contributed to the social welfare with the initiatives of Karuna club. The club has organized Blood Camp, Cloth Donation Drives and Tree Plantation etc.

Conference & workshop
In order to equip our student with latest knowledge in various disciplines different workshops and conferences are regularly organised by the institute. By these activities, student are enable to work as team and also enriched with the latest knowledge of this era.

The institute has organized national and international level conferences. It has successfully organized a workshop on “DISASTER MANAGEMENT AND METIGATION” on 4th Nov. 2015.
