Dr. Rohit Kanauzia, is working as Head of Department & Associate Professor, in the department of Information Technology. He is been known for his ability to foresee future technology and market trends. He holds Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Computer Science and Engineering from Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun (A State Govt. University), Bachelor and Master of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering. As technology and development specialist, with over 13 years of experience within the ICT and Government sector, he combines deep technology knowledge.
He has attended many of international workshops and published 17 papers in International/ National journals & conferences and guided 13 PG dissertations, and completed 02 research seed grant. He possesses 05 patents. Along with his he is the reviewer of referred journals.
He is a person who strongly believes in hard work and always motivates the students to shape up their future in right way. He teaches the students not only to be passionate about their subject, but to generate new knowledge in their specialist areas, and in many cases have shaped their academic fields of interest.
Dr. Rohit has understanding of premier institutions through his association with their apex bodies.
He is the recipient of the National Teacher of the Year Award 2022 honored by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.
