The Institute is currently running the following Two Year M.Tech Programmes affiliated by Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun
All the Following programs are run on semester basis. All M.Tech programs are of two years i.e. four semesters duration. Odd semester runs between July to Dec and Even semester between Jan to June. In addition to regular semesters three mid-term exams are conducted during each semester for continuous evaluating the performance of the students.

Admission Procedure:COER offers admission to all eligible applicants. The admissions are done through counseling and seat allotment procedure of all the GATE qualified applicants. The applicants who have not qualified GATE will have to appear for the College entrance Test/Counselling. First, preference will be given to candidates who have qualified the GATE exam.
Admission open for M Tech in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering for the session 2020-2021.
Fellowship of Rs. 10,000/- per month is available in each stream to GATE Qualified candidates as per the following criteria:
Selection Criteria:
- Based on the merit, upto 10 students (each stream) will be considered for fellowship.
- The selected candidates will be engaged in Teaching Assistant

The basic eligibility requirement for admission to ME/MTech programme is:
Candidates who have completed their BE/BTech degree with a valid score in GATE are eligible for ME/MTech degree course.
Admission is based on rank obtained in the entrance test conducted for M.Tech. by COER
B. Tech: 10+2 with minimum 45% Marks (40% in reserved category) Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry /Computer Science/ Information Science passed through CBSE/ICSE/Uttarakhand Board or equivalent any other Recognized board.
B. Tech Lateral Entry): 3 Years Diploma in Engineering in respected branch from a recognized board/University
Diploma: 10th Passed from Recognized Board/University
