Mr B D Patel Working in Education Field from Last 20 years having B E and M Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and PhD(P) in Image Processing . As a Head of the Department he is actively involved in overall growth of the graduating students not only technically but also prepare the students to face the challenges when they go in field. His motto is to make the student industry ready from day one, for this he runs many Value Added Programmes in addition to the regular course. He has many achievements to his credits like Received 11 times 100% Result Awards of Rs about 1 Lac, Successfully completed NPTEL online Courses on Manufacturing Automation and Digital Image Processing Conducted by IIT Kanpur and IIT Kharagpur respectively, awarded MHRD scholarship for merit Position ,Two projects won First and Second position in Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun under his guidance in Technical Exhibition in Sept 2018, Conducted two TEQIP-III FDP on Advance Industrial Automation for 109 participants of Rs 1.25 Lac, Conducted National level two days workshop on Smart Cities Enabling Technologies in 2017, Convener of National Conference NCRIET 2015 with 825 Participation.
He has organized About 25 Guest Lectures from Renowned Personalities from all over India, Conducted 20 workshops on recent technologies from Industry Experts, Organized 50 Industry Visits for students and Exhibition visits to Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh etc. ,Running Value Added Programmers in the Department from last five years on recent technologies to make students employable, Attended Several conference /Seminar/workshop like Wipro’s Mission10x ,IIT Roorkee virtual instrumentation, UTU NBA workshop, Bridge19 at AICTE Delhi, Established Centre of Excellence in Advance Industrial Automation Technologies with recent addition of Training on Industry 4.0.Established Internet of Things Application Centre, Huawei IP Lab, Computer Hardware and Networking Centre, He is member of Professional Societies like IAENG International Association of Engineers Hong Kong and The Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications SDIWDC-USA , He has Published 14 research papers in National and International Journal and conferences, he is expert trainer of latest technologies on Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLC , SCADA,HMI, Industry 4.0 and IoT.
