ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 1999 to meet the growing requirement of engineers in Electrical and Electronics disciplines. Since its commencement, the primary objective of the departments has been to impart quality education, training and research in various areas of Electrical engineering. The department endeavor to produce confident professionals tuned to real time working environment. The department offers excellent academic environment with a team of highly qualified faculty members to inspire the students to develop their technical skills and inculcate the spirit of team work in them. The strength of the department is highly motivated students who understand the dynamics of the industry and hone their skills accordingly.

PSO1The students will acquire comprehensive understanding of concepts, analysis, operation and performance of all major aspects of electrical engineering such as networks, measurement and measuring instruments, electrical rotating machines, drives and transformers, power systems, control systems, power electronics and communication engineering

(ii) experimental tools for performance investigations
