7Establishment of IPR cell with a funding of Rs. 20000 from UCOST.
8Conduction of one day seminar on IPR with funding of Rs. 50000 from UCOST.
9Funding from USERC of Rs. 65000, for one-day seminar on AI in the name of Dr. Rohit Kanoujia.

Funding from USERC of Rs. 2.2 Lakh for Chardham Yatra Sustainable App development

10Funding from USERC of Rs. 44000 to conduct FDP
11All faculty members went to NITTTR, Chandigarh to enhance their knowledge on

Outcome based Education.

12All faculty members also attended  5-day FDP on OBE conducted by NITTTR, Chandigarh.
13In cooperation with NITTTR, Chandigarh, the department was designated as the

nodal centre for the 5-day FDP on IOT.

14Our 3rd/4th year students are actively involved to give training to their juniors on various technologies like Web Development and AR/VR. Institute has funded Rs. 80000 to senior students for these types of training.
15The International Council of Electronic Commerce has approved our request and granted us ACADEMIC PARTNER status
16Identification of weak students on the basis of result and comments from faculty advisors. Conduction of remedial classes for these identified weak students.
17We have dedicated 256 computers with good configuration in 7 labs.
18Placement: more than 85% placement, 4 students in higher studies, 1 startup
19The department is committed to provide varied exposure to students and encourages them to not only participate in seminars/conferences/technical events/sports/cultural events in other colleges but also exposes them to the larger world of technology.
20The students are encouraged to explore beyond their prescribed curriculum by exposing them to various seminars, extension talks, lecture series etc., which are a regular feature of the department.

a.       A team of 4 students win 2nd prize at COER Hackathon

b.      Two teams of 3 students in each team with faculty members won 2nd / 3rd prize at DST sponsored National Technology Day

c.       A team of 4 students won 1st prize at Sharda University (5 April 2022)

d.      Our students won several competitions in software development.

e.       Our    students   and   faculty   members    are    actively   involved    in NPTEL/COURSERA courses.

f.       Our students participate and won several prized in sports also.
