Computer Programming Lab

The purpose of this course is to introduce to students the field of Programming using C language. The students will be able to enhance their analysing and problem solving skills and use the same for writing programs in C.

Lab Outcomes
  1. Acquainted with the concepts in problem solving
  2. well-versed in Programming in C language
  3. Able to write diversified solutions using C language

To promote innovation centric education and perform research in Computer Science and Engineering in pace with industrial development.

  1. To provide a learning environment that helps students to enhance problem solving skills, be successful in their professional lives and prepare them to be lifelong learners by offering a solid theoretical foundation in computing along with applied computing experiences and educating them about their professional, and ethical responsibilities.
  2. To establish Industry-Institute Interaction to make students ready for the industrial environment.
  3. To provide exposure to students to the latest tools and technologies in the area of computer hardware and software, and supporting society by participating in and encouraging technology transfer.
  4. To promote research based projects/activities in the emerging areas of technology convergence.
  5. To encourage students to pursue online certification courses for value addition
  6. To encourage students to acquire knowledge through internship in India and abroad in emerging areas.

Program Outcomes (POs)

PO1 Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PO2 Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3 Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
PO4 Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
PO5 Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
PO6 The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
PO7 Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

PEO1To provide the imperatives knowledge of science and engineering concepts fundamental for a computer professional and equip the proficiency of mathematical foundations and algorithmic principles for competent problem solving ability.
PEO2 To inculcate ability in creativity & design of computer support systems and impart knowledge and skills for analyze, design, test and implement various software applications

PSO1Apply standard Software Engineering practices and strategies in real-time software project development using open-source programming environment or commercial environment to deliver quality product for the organization success

PSO3 Pursue higher studies and research by exploring the various motivation factors in the computing discipline associated with the program to function efficiently and effectively in the modern and challenging society.
